The flagship programme
A nation-building platform, privately originated.
Project Velocity is an approximately $20 billion1 proposed integrated freight, logistics and infrastructure development programme centred on the Port of Gladstone — Australia’s fifth-largest multi-commodity port.
Origination
Where the projects come from.
The group’s pipeline is concentrated on the Port of Gladstone and the Central Queensland corridor, originated and master-planned under Project Velocity — the development programme Allcap leads.
A programme origin means the pipeline is master-planned rather than assembled deal by deal: sequencing, siting and enabling infrastructure are decided inside the group.
Why Gladstone
- Port
- Australia’s fifth-largest multi-commodity port
- Land
- 2,700 hectares of inland port and intermodal capacity at Calliope
- Trade lanes
- A shipping and logistics focus directed at the Asian trade lanes the corridor is being built to serve
- Production
- Central Queensland output connecting to aggregation, cold storage and direct international shipping

Origination is the scarce capability. Everything downstream depends on it.
